STEP
4 - Introduction |
Move
to the next step by clicking on the “4. Arrangement” link on the
Step By Step Tool Bar an you’ll see this screen.

|
STEP
4 - Your Selection |
This is the actual selection that will be used, this
will change as you add and remove menu items.
|
STEP
4 - Add New Menu Items |
To add an item you can either use the “New Menu Item”
option on the left tool bar or you can also click on any of the menu
titles in the 2 suggestion boxes.
|
STEP
4 - Deleting Menu Items |
To delete a menu item, simply highlight it from the
“Your Selection” box and then choose “Delete Menu Item”. If there is
an item with subb-tiers, you will need to delete the sub tiers
before you can delete the parent menu item – for example, if you
want to delete the “Products” menu item from the example above, you
first have to delete the “First Product, Second Product and Third
Product Menu items.”
|
STEP
4 - Re-ordering Menu Items |
To change the order of the menu items or to create
sub tiers, simply Highlight the item from the “Your Selection” box
and then click on your preference of “One Position Up”, “One
Position Down”, “In Second Level” or “In First Level”
|
STEP
4 - Adding And Removing The Menu Items For Extras |
Some menu items are in fact links for “Extras” such
as Bloggs, Journals, Guestbooks and so on. These need to be removed
first by using the “6. Extra’s” menu and you can’t add / remove
these from this screen.
Once you are happy with the structure of your site
and the pages on it you are ready to go on to the “Edit” Menu.
Don’t forget you can always comeback at any time and add and remove
menu items with a few clicks so your site can increase or shrink in
size as you need to.
